On 31 May 2025, I experienced something incredible! A tiny glimpse into the spirit world...
As I was trying to write it all down, I quickly realised that trying to explain it in terms of and by examples of our natural world is going to be difficult, but I will give it go! 🙂
A bit of a backstory, to put things into context... and to help us understand what may have triggered this glimpse into the spirit world. As I had been around various people with different bugs and germs recently, I felt myself coming down with something... Usually I'd not care for it one way or other so I wouldn't bother fighting it, but this time was different: as I realised it does not belong in this body, I took a stand against it. Jesus has paid with His EVERYTHING to redeem me from all sickness, illness and curse! He carried it onto the cross and paid for it all fully, so why should I still suffer? Yes it's such a small thing but still illegal...
So, every time I felt a little tickle in my nose, I kept speaking God's word out loud saying 'Jesus has died for me so that I could be healed' (1 Peter 2:24), and 'This sickness has no right to take foothold in my body as I am a temple of the Holy Spirit' (1 Cor. 6:19) and 'I've been seated with Jesus in heavenly places, where there is no sickness' (Eph. 2:6), and so on and so forth with various scriptures. All symptoms would leave pretty much immediately each time I spoke it out! Sometimes I would do this several times an hour, other times just once a day...but I kept at it each time as I felt the symptoms creeping back. I was standing on and claiming my rights in Christ for about a week...until that day.......
COMPLETE AUTHORITY
On the morning of the 31st, as I woke up, feeling the symptoms a bit again, immediately I took my stand again as I had been doing for days, but this time, as I was speaking out Gods word in my head and refusing to accept the cold, there was almost like a curtain, which opened up enabling me to see another me - my spirit speaking and saying the same things in complete authority! There was no question whether the things I said then, would happen! I spoke things into being, the force of that authority 'created' things I was saying!
Doubt did not exist in that realm!
My inner being, the spirit me had unlimited amount of power and authority! In that moment, everything was possible!
In the realm, where you watch your spirit person say something and the subject has to listen, obey and do as it's told! WOW!
To explain it in a bit more detail: as I was speaking in my normal human mind, there was this other reality happening at the same time, which was visible to my spirit eyes - I was watching my 'other me', who was speaking exactly the same words as I was speaking in my head BUT WITH COMPLETE AUTHORITY!!! Both were speaking at the same time - it all happened simultaneously like two worlds, visible and invisible merging (it's the closest I can describe it!).
It's like Matryoshka dolls inside each other, two separate persons but still one at the same time, just inside the other one, my spirit residing in my body. The whole experience only lasted about 10 seconds, but I was thinking, if only I could see and speak through my spirit like that all the time, imagine the kind of miracles and everything else that would start happening? Just wow!

The strangest thing about it all is perhaps the fact that at a time it felt completely natural ie. that's how it's supposed to be! As I was coming out of it, I somehow knew this can be 'practiced' by becoming more aware of the Holy Spirit within us, who is empowering our spirits. He is the one, through whom we are able to do the miracles - God inside us!
The source of power is inside us, in our spirit. His Holy Spirit is within us empowering our spirit!
Yes I am well and truly aware that this all might sound very very weird and highly unusual indeed... or does it? The bible says we are made after/in the image of God, and we know there are three persons in one God ie God is trinity: Father, Son and the Holy Spirit...so therefore we are also three in one: body, soul and spirit. We can see our body and we can hear our thoughts but the rest is (mostly) a mystery! (1 Thessalonians 5:23: "And the God of peace Himself sanctify you wholly, and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.")
I've been wondering why I keep getting these strange and wonderful experiences, but then I am reminded that we've been praying Paul's prayers for the spirit of wisdom and revelation! You get what you [sincerely] pray for.
There are many things in the world and universe in general that we do not know and never will, so the temptation to explain this experience away with my little brain, will have to wait! But having said that, there is plenty of evidence in the bible which cast more light into these kinds of spiritual things.
I am sharing all my stories for one purpose and that purpose only: to give glory to God! He is the One who started and will also finish the good work He has started in me (and you)!
