Bread of life

We all feed each other as we share Jesus, the Bread of Life

"Now you [collectively] are Christ’s body, and individually [you are] members of it [each with his own special purpose and function]."
1 Corinthians 12:27 AMP

Spiritual communion
On 26. August 2026, whilst sharing our stories and praying during a prayer meeting, I saw how this connection between Jesus and with each other is vital to get spiritually fed.

If we open ourselves up to the Lord Jesus to feed us, He will do it.
Have you noticed that so often it happens through another brother or sister in Christ though? You find yourself hearing them share something you really needed to hear? This is how God has designed it. If we are in fellowship with God, and with each other, He can freely flow like living waters between us. "...that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ" (1 John 1:3-7)
But we need to come with our hearts in the right place - to listen from Jesus to learn for ourselves (not to hear to find fault or so that we can correct others).

"For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones."
Ephesians 5:30 NKJV

"Therefore if there is any encouragement and comfort in Christ [as there certainly is in abundance], if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship [that we share] in the Spirit, if [there is] any [great depth of] affection and compassion, make my joy complete by being of the same mind, having the same love [toward one another], knit together in spirit, intent on one purpose [and living a life that reflects your faith and spreads the gospel—the good news regarding salvation through faith in Christ]." (Philippians 2:1,2)

Being fed by Jesus through each other is creating unity and connection.

What I saw was this: IF we humble ourselves and open our hearts to hear what the Lord is saying through each other (whoever they are), we will be able to receive the Eternal Bread of life which feeds our innermost beings!

As we share the 'piece of bread' (our revelation), Jesus will reveal it to the other person if they are open to Him. It will then become a living word revealed to them by Christ ie. 'multiplied' as we share!

This principle is well illustrated in the story of multiplying bread and fish: Jesus broke bread and shared to His disciples, where it was multiplied (there are several theories how the bread could have multiplied, but that is not the point I am trying to make right now, nevertheless it's an interesting point to ponder over...). Once it multiplied, only then it could feed everyone there...they were fed because disciples shared what they had!

"Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and He looked up to heaven [and gave thanks] and blessed them, and broke them and kept giving them to the disciples to set before the crowd."
Luke 9:16 AMP

The way we shared our stories, was exactly the same principle set to work in the spiritual world as well - we get fed BECAUSE other disciples feed us! As we share, it becomes spiritual food in us as we are receiving what Jesus gave to one of us as a starting point of "one loaf"!
He touched it.
He breathed on it.
He broke it and gave to His disciples.

We need each other to be fed by Jesus!

"so we, who are many, are [nevertheless just] one body in Christ, and individually [we are] parts one of another [mutually dependent on each other]."
Romans 12:5 AMP
